Where are Corolle dolls made?
Corolle dolls are made in factories all over the world. The company operates plants across Europe, Asia, and Latin America with a focus on France for design innovation as well production efficiency where they utilize their state-of one workforce platform to find solutions that best fit each individual needs of its employees while respecting local customs.
The first doll factory was started in 1921 by Mireille Gendron. Her daughter, Madeleine recorded all of the production information onto a series of notebooks which were later transcribed into these two books—Doll Making Manual and Story Book about The Dolls Who Lived Upstairs From Heaven!. Today we still use many techniques from this original work even though they have been updated with more modern-day manufacturing methods such as computer numerical control (CNC) machines for intricately detailed cuts or injection molding that allows us to produce silicone skin versions instead!
