Since Playskool toys became a part of Hasbro, Inc. only a few safety recalls have been issued. The last toy has a safety recall in 1997 and no more toys have been recalled since then. Over the period of 1980 to 1997, 14 toys were recalled for the same defects, mostly choking safety hazards before their testing standards became more stringent.
