The Journey Girls® are a band of friends who have decided to travel the world together. They started out as just one friend but quickly grew into an international community with members in 18 different countries around the globe!
Each doll has its own unique management abilities and the manner in which she assists her buddies along with their experiences. Journey Girls ® was formerly the private label 18-inch doll of Toys “R” US shops, however when their stores started closing they were moved by the company to being offered mostly on Amazon in July of 2019.
Journey Girls are a unique group of friends that share many same interests. They’re fashion-forward and use their own skills to manage the business side of things.
A journey girl will never have just one style, but rather an individualistic look for each adventure in life – from her clothes to how she carries herself!
Characteristics of Journey Girl Dolls
Journey Girls are 18-inch tall dolls with rooted hair and eyelashes. They have hand-painted faces, painted on eyes that do not blink (so as to avoid damaging them), vinyl bodies except for their torsos which are made of a different material designed especially for these dolls, as pictured below. They can’t be posed easily in standing positions without help from another person or an object like furniture leg against the floor!
They are taller than the American Girl dolls, Glitter Girls, Bumbleberry Girls, and Melissa and Doug 12 Inch Doll.

How many Journey Girl Dolls Are There?
Currently, there are eight dolls in the line named Meredith, Kyla, Dana, Mikaella, Kelsey, Callie, Chavonne and Ilee.
Journey Girls have always been a staple of the doll world, and now they’re more popular than ever! Journey Girls were originally six main dolls: Chavonne, Kelsey-, Meredith Callie, Kyla, and Dana with unique personalities. A seventh Journeys Girl was released as a special edition for late 2013 when Toysrus added another new girl named Mikaella into Italy lineup. Each one has her own story to tell about how she came from where she started at.
